This two-day course provides hands-on familiarization with the electrical connections, operating modes, and functionality of Bosch Rexroth’s ctrlX Drive. Participants learn to use ctrlX Drive Engineering software for parameterization, system configuration, and fault diagnostics, with practical exercises that reinforce real-world drive operation and system understanding.

What you will learn:
▶ Relate the connections on the servo drive to their applications
▶ Set up and operate the drive
▶ Commission replacement Bosch Rexroth Servo and Spindle motors
▶ Backup and Restore drive parameters and configuration
▶ Identify drive diagnostic messages
▶ Identify hardware associated with the drives
▶ Understand the function of important parameters.
▶ Communicate to the drive using ctrlX Drive Engineering™ software
▶ Execute Commands by way of the Operator Panel
▶ Use the Oscilloscope utility to monitor drive values
▶ Set absolute zero and machine zero with or without offset.
This two-day course provides comprehensive familiarization with the electrical connections, functionality, and operating modes of Bosch Rexroth’s ctrlX Drive digital servo drive. Participants gain practical insight into system behavior, drive operation, and component interaction.
The course also covers the use of Rexroth’s ctrlX Drive Engineering™ software for drive parameterization, system configuration, fault diagnostics, and automatic recognition of connected system components.
Training is reinforced through hands-on class exercises designed to solidify understanding and build confidence in real-world ctrlX Drive operation.
