#1151-os IndraDrive MLD-M Gen.1 PLC operation in multi-axes applications

This two-day course covers the multi-axes Motion-Logic function of the IndraLogic, First Generation (Gen1) PLC in the Bosch Rexroth IndraDrive Digital Servo Drives. This course expands on the knowledge gained in the #1141 MLD-S class. The setup, parameterization, and operation of the function is covered and performed in the drive. The course is a fixed cost for up to six students per class.

▶ Create an IndraWorks Project for MLD-M operation

▶ Understand the PLC-Drive Data Structure

▶ Programming PLC Operation Within the Drive

▶ Understand the Different Data Channels Available

▶ Diagnose & Troubleshoot PLC & Drive Operation

▶ Saving and Archiving IndraWorks Project Data

▶ Motion-Logic drive data structure

▶ Motion-Logic drive programming

The student will learn the full capability of the integrated PLC, task timing, system IO capabilities, expansion options, programming, and multi-axes operation. 

Students will write logic programs for axis IO operation. PLCopen Motion Function block programs will be used to control and monitor multi-axes operation. Class exercises use Bosch Rexroth’s IndraWorks™ software communicating through the drive’s communication interface for the control and operation of the drives. The IndraLogic Visualization tool will be used to simulate an HMI data interface and to control and monitor program execution and axis operation.

Prerequisites

▶ One of the IndraDrive Basics courses and

▶ One of the IndraLogic Gen1 PLC Programming Courses & Course #1141 MLD-S class

▶ If a student desires to use their own computer for the class, they must have a licensed copy of Bosch Rexroth’s IndraWorks software (version 7V12 or newer) installed onto the computer prior to taking the course . A loaner laptop can be provided by Bosch Rexroth, if needed.
