#2000 IndraMotion MLC (Without Source Code) Maintenance & Troubleshooting

This one-day course provides familiarization with the IndraMotion MLC control hardware (CML or XM series). This course uses IndraWorks software or WebAssistant for diagnosis, archiving and restoring an active IndraMotion system. Training is enhanced through class exercises designed to reinforce concepts. This course is intended for those without access to the MLC source project &/or IndraWorks ML/SL Engineering. Because of this, PLC application troubleshooting and programming are not covered in this class.

Description

What you will learn:

► Connect to an MLC* controller using IndraWorks and WebAssistant
► Archive, replace, & restore MLC* devices
► Troubleshoot an existing IndraMotion system or hardware
► Understand the various communication methods used to transfer data between the Motion Control, HMI, and Servo Drives
► Troubleshoot Sercos III ring redundancy
► Understand how servo drive motion is controlled and monitored

*The hardware covered in this class can include L20, L25, L40, L45, L60, L65, L75, XM21, XM22, or XM42 controllers running the MLC firmware. Please specify the control hardware when requesting classes.

This one-day course introduces the electrical connections, functions, and operating modes of the IndraMotion MLC using Lx5 control hardware and IndraDrive servo drives. Students will use IndraWorks™ ML Engineering and WebAssistant for parameterization, system recognition, and fault diagnostics. This course is intended for end users without access to machine source code or IndraWorks™ ML Engineering.
