#1120 IndraDrive MLD PLC Operations

This (2) day course provides familiarization with the electrical connections, functions, and various operating modes of Bosch Rexroth’s IndraDrive digital servo drive family. It highlights the hardware similarities and differences between the different versions of the IndraDrive. It highlights the operational and functional similarities and differences between the different versions of the IndraDrive. This course also covers the use of Rexroth’s IndraWorks™ software for parameterization of drives, & more.

This two-day course provides familiarization with the electrical connections, functions, and various operating modes of Bosch Rexroth’s IndraDrive HCS02 – 04, HMS, and HMD digital servo drive series and the HMV series power supply units. This course also covers the use of IndraWorks™ software for parameterization of drives, system and fault information, and system recognition of components. Training is enhanced through class exercises designed to reinforce each aspect of the operation of the drive.

This two-day course provides familiarization with the electrical connections, functions, and various operating modes of Bosch Rexroth’s IndraDrive Cs digital servo drive. This course also covers the use of Bosch Rexroth’s IndraWorks™ software for parameterization of drives, system and fault information, and system recognition of components. Training is enhanced through class exercises designed to reinforce each aspect of the operation of the drive.

This two-day course focuses on the multi-axis Motion-Logic functionality of the IndraLogic Gen1 PLC integrated within Bosch Rexroth IndraDrive digital servo drives. Building on knowledge from the #1141 MLD-S course, students will configure, parameterize, and operate the integrated PLC, including task timing, system I/O, expansion options, programming, and multi-axis operation, as well as methods for interfacing with additional drives and HMIs.

This two-day course focuses on the multi-axis Motion-Logic functionality of the IndraLogic Gen2 PLC integrated within Bosch Rexroth IndraDrive digital servo drives. Building on knowledge from the #1142 MLD-S course, students will configure, parameterize, and operate the integrated PLC, including task timing, system I/O, expansion options, programming, and multi-axis operation, as well as methods for interfacing with additional drives and HMIs.

This two-day course focuses on the Motion-Logic functionality of the IndraLogic Gen2 PLC integrated within Bosch Rexroth IndraDrive digital servo drives. Building on knowledge from courses #1110 or #1600, students will configure, parameterize, and operate the integrated PLC, including task timing, system I/O, expansion options, and programming. Hands-on exercises include axis I/O control using PLCopen motion function blocks and HMI interfacing with IndraWorks™ and IndraLogic Visualization for simulation.

This one-day course covers the use of the integrated SafeMotion Technology function available in the Bosch Rexroth IndraDrive family. The setup and operation of the function is covered and performed in the drive. The history and current machine requirements of the technology are discussed to help the student further understand the operation of the function, and how it relates to various other machine/process functions.

This two-day course provides familiarization with the electrical connections, functions, and various operating modes of Bosch Rexroth’s IndraDrive Mi Gen1 digital servo drive. This course also covers the use of IndraWorks™ software for parameterization of drives, system and fault information, and system recognition of components. Training is enhanced through class exercises designed to re-enforce each aspect of the operation of the drive.

This one-day course provides familiarization with the IndraMotion MLC control hardware (CML or XM series). This course uses IndraWorks software or WebAssistant for diagnosis, archiving and restoring an active IndraMotion system. Training is enhanced through class exercises designed to reinforce concepts. This course is intended for those without access to the MLC source project &/or IndraWorks ML/SL Engineering. Because of this, PLC application troubleshooting and programming are not covered in this class.

This two-day course provides familiarization with the configuration and programs of all types of motion available in the Bosch Rexroth’s IndraMotion MLC control hardware (CML or XM series). This course uses IndraWorks™ software for parameterization and program monitoring. Training is enhanced through class exercises designed to re-enforce each programming concepts. The IndraLogic Visualization function is used for controlling program operation and for program monitoring.

This one-day add-on course provides familiarization with the programming of motion available in Bosch Rexroth’s IndraMotion series MLC* control in both XM and CML/Lx5 controllers. This course uses IndraWorks™ software for programming, parameterization, and program monitoring. Training is enhanced through class exercises designed to reinforce each programming concepts. The IndraLogic Visualization function is used for controlling program operation and for program monitoring.

This two-day course continues and expands on the programming knowledge gained in the #2020 MLC Programming Basic course. This course uses IndraWorks™ software for programming, parameterization, and program monitoring. Training is enhanced through class exercises designed to reinforce each programming concepts. The IndraLogic Visualization function is used for controlling program operation and for program monitoring.

This course equips IndraLogic users with the skills needed to develop applications in the PLCopen programming environment. Topics include project structure, library management, device and target configuration, task setup, variable types, fieldbus integration, and motion programming using function blocks. Programming is covered using Structured Text, Instruction List, Ladder Diagram, Function Block Diagram, and Sequential Function Chart.

This two-day advanced course builds on the skills developed in Course #3010 and is intended for experienced IndraLogic users. Participants enhance existing applications by implementing advanced data types, including arrays, data structures, and enumerations, using Structured Text. The course also covers programming techniques for working with STRING and file data, with hands-on exercises involving one-, two-, and three-dimensional arrays and structured data processing.

This course introduces new users to the IndraLogic Gen2 PLCopen programming environment. It covers program structure, task configuration, data and variable types, debugging, and monitoring across all supported languages. Participants develop and run a multi-language project in a simulated environment and use IndraLogic Visualization for control and troubleshooting.

This two-day advanced course builds on Course #3030 and focuses on enhancing IndraLogic applications using advanced data types. Participants work with arrays, data structures, and enumerations, including one-, two-, and three-dimensional arrays, and learn programming techniques for STRING and file data. All exercises are performed using Structured Text.

This three-day course provides an overview of the electrical connections, functions, and operating modes of Bosch Rexroth’s IndraDrive digital servo drive family. Participants compare hardware and functional differences across IndraDrive variants and use IndraWorks™ for drive parameterization, system recognition, and fault diagnostics. Hands-on exercises reinforce key operating concepts.

This two-day course provides hands-on familiarization with the electrical connections, operating modes, and functionality of Bosch Rexroth’s ctrlX Drive. Participants learn to use ctrlX Drive Engineering software for parameterization, system configuration, and fault diagnostics, with practical exercises that reinforce real-world drive operation and system understanding.

This one-day course provides an introduction to the electrical connections, functionality, and operating modes of the ctrlX Core industrial control device. The course also covers the use of Rexroth’s ctrlX Works™ software for commissioning and configuring ctrlX Core components. Training is reinforced through hands-on class exercises designed to strengthen understanding of each aspect of ctrlX Core operation.

This two-day online course builds on basic IndraDrive training & focuses on the Motion-Logic function of the IndraLogic Gen1 PLC within Bosch Rexroth IndraDrive digital servo drives. Participants learn setup, parameterization, programming, & operation of the integrated PLC, including task timing, I/O, expansions, & HMI interfacing. Training is reinforced through exercises using IndraWorks™ software, PLCopen motion function blocks, & IndraLogic Visualization to simulate HMI control & monitor axis operation.

This one-day course introduces the electrical connections, functions, and various operating modes of Bosch Rexroth’s EFC digital Frequency drive. This course also covers the use of Bosch Rexroth’s IndraWorks™ software for parameterization of drives, system and fault information, and system recognition of components. The student will also learn to use the display panel for drive monitoring and operation. Training is enhanced through class exercises designed to re-enforce each aspect of drive operation.
